These figures often called Darwan figures or chowkidar were traditionally used as a protective symbol outside homes, shops or temples and were often given as house warming gifts to ward off bad luck. I have two of these which can be bought as a pair with combined postage. Each is listed separately. One has a rifle to the left hand side and one to the right hand side.
